GDS Droplet separator
Cassette system with separator profiles which deflect the droplet laden gas stream. As a result, the momentum causes the droplets to impinge onto the profile surface.
The droplets coalesce together and form a liquid film. The influence of gravity causes the liquid to drain to the bottom of the profiles.
Specially shaped separation chambers improve performance by enhancing the separation of finer droplets and ensuring problem free discharge of liquid at the bottom of the system.
Application
Our separators have been developed to protect HVAC installations and natural ventilation systems. They have a high separation efficiency over a wide face velocity range. The design is ideal for new air duct installations and for retrofitting behind existing systems. The GDS system can be fitted behind all (existing) louvred grilles without disturbing the architectural design of the building.
